By the end of 2016, Haier had submitted 90 proposals on setting and revising world standards, 43 of which have since been adopted. It also made 410 proposals to help make and amend standards for the Chinese industry, with 365 published. Haier leads China's home appliance industry in terms of submitting proposals for national and international standards.
Haier experts hold 66 seats at international associations for standardization, such as the International Electrotechnical Commission and the International Organization for Standardization.
