Shandong traditional arts on show in Bangkok, Thailand
The Future Park Shopping Center in Bangkok, capital of Thailand has featured a kite and paper-cutting exhibition, organized by China Cultural Center in Bangkok and Shandong Provincial Department of Culture, from Feb 5 to 14.
The exhibition was part of a series of activities celebrating Chinese New Year, which opened in Bangkok's Chinatown on Feb 8, with Thai Princess, Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, attending.
Apart from the exhibition, a cartoon-based game, a farmers' painting show and a Shanghai cheongsam (traditional Chinese dress) exhibition were held, said Lan Suhong, director of China Cultural Center in Bangkok.
She added that this year's activities included events held at shopping centers, royal parks and prestigious universities in Thailand.
