A month-long circus festival is in full swing in Jinan, capital of Shandong province, providing exciting performances to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

Jointly organized by the Shandong Acrobatic Troupe and a Russian circus company, the festival gathers more than 60 excellent acrobatic performers from China, Russia, Ukraine, Mongolia and Kazakhstan.

According to the organizers, the festival, which starts on Feb 7 and ends on March 15, gives two performances every day. With trained animals, acrobats doing difficult tricks and funny colorful clowns, each show will last for 90 minutes.
