The coach station of Yantai, Shandong province has taken a series of measures to prepare for the tourism peak of summer vocation, said officials.

Apart from adding more tourism buses to scenic spots in Penglai, Weihai and Changdao, the station will sell bus tickets in schools and enterprises and offer free shuttle buses for students and working staffs.

In addition, the coach station will provide special online offers, such as "1 yuan tickets to scenic spots" and discount on preorders for long-distance tours.

The station authorities also make safety a priority. During the summer vacation, the staff will carry out regular check on buses, drivers and ticket sellers to ensure safe transportation.
