A snow-themed amusement park developed by the Shanghai Qianyuan Yutian Cultural Media Co, dubbed Snow World, opened beside the Oriental Pearl TV Tower in Lujiazui area of Shanghai's Pudong New District on Jan 15, Pudong Times reported.

The park creates an authentic snow-covered landscape with the help of high technologies and aims to give people who live in China's southern cities, and rarely see beautiful snow, a fresh experience.

In the park, visitors can enjoy the falling snow, have a snowball fight, make snowmen, go skiing, and even have meals at a snow-covered cafe. Various entertainment facilities are provided to help visitors have fun.

It is a perfect place for parent-child interaction and gatherings of friends and also a romantic site for young lovers to have a date, said a manager of the park.

The manager also said that to give tourists better services, the park will launch many regular activities and will also provide venues for annual meetings of local companies.
