Jiaoye Park, in the city of Kunming, Yunnan province is celebrating the Lunar New Year with a plum blossom festival Jan 30 - Feb 28, with more than 3,000 trees in full bloom, where visitors can ride a bike along the pathway to do some barbecuing in the picnic area.

The park also has a Yu'an Folk Culture Temple Fair for 2016 which is open 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Feb 8 - 10, the first three days of the New Lunar Year, accompanied by folk dancing, festival lanterns, lantern riddles and snacks.
