Over 90 art teams from 31 provinces took part in the contest held by the Shanghai International Cultural Exchange Association and other institutions.

The art troupe from Guanshan county, Yunnan province won first prize in the competition for expressing their profound Yunnan culture and characteristics in their two performances.

The troupe has won many awards in both foreign and domestic contests since its establishment in 2009.

The art team's dances of the Zhuang ethnic group and the Yi ethnic group won the gold award in South Korea in 2015. Its impact has broken through the Chinese border and extended to foreign countries.
