Tobacco Science Park Kindergarten, Kunming Gaoxin District, is located at No. 31 Keyi Road, Gaoxin District. Since opening in 1998, it is widely known for its superior management system, distinguished teaching staff and excellent nurturing service.
It also got the name “First-level Third-class Model Kindergarten” in 2008, won honorary titles of “the First non-governmental Education Prize of Yunnan Province - Excellent Private Kindergarten”, “School of Good Culture in Kunming” and “Advanced Unit of Educating and Nurturing Kids” in the district many times.
The kindergarten is equipped with modern teaching facilities, advanced multi-media devices and WeChat interactive platform.
Tobacco Science Park Kindergarten, Kunming Gaoxin District, guided by the concept of “Quality Education and Standard Service” and the principle of being kid-oriented, launched a series of inspiring practical activities, including clay modeling, paper-cutting, drawing and games of construction, role-playing and scientific exploration, which all make it possible for kids to “play, learn and have fun”.
Through these hands-on experiences, children can gain more knowledge, develop cognition, improve their ability of exploring, learning by doing, observing rules and cooperating, enhance their confidence and inspire their imagination, creativity and hands-on skills. The Fine Arts Group of the kindergarten has won many first prizes in the Youth Fine Arts Competition of Yunnan Province.
Two teachers from the kindergarten have been called “the Discipline Leader, the Backbone Teacher” of the city, and other teachers have won such titles as “Discipline Leader, the Backbone Teacher”, “Excellent Teacher”, “Model Teacher for Professional Ethics” and “New Star of Education”.
Moreover, the school is one of the model kindergartens of Yunnan province, and takes active part in teaching exchange activities organized by education departments of the provincial government, municipal government and district government. The kindergarten, with its open environment of education, advanced concepts of education and scientific methods of education, receives praise from both leaders and parents.
