Kunming and Chengdu to strengthen cooperation

Wang Minzheng, director of the administrative committee of the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone, went to Chengdu High-Tech Zone recently to investigate and learn about their experiences in development. At the same time, Wang met some enterprises to discuss cooperation matters.

Wang?first met Han Chunlin, director of the Chengdu High-Tech Zone at the administrative committee. They exchanged ideas and solutions to several problems including skills introduction, cultural development, investment promotion, project management, and land purchasing and storage. Wang said that Chengdu has advanced experience in development, especially in technological innovation and investment and financing systems for small and medium-sized enterprises in the zone. He said that Kunming hoped to enhance cooperation with Chengdu to gain more experience and realize a win-win situation.

Next, Wang visited Chengdu Genegle Biotech Co, Chengdu Winpower Financial Services, Sichuan Neo-life Stem Cell Biotech Co, and Chengdu Agriculture and Commerce Bank. Wang discussed further cooperation with the directors and presidents of these enterprises and their future settlement in the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone. Wang promised that the zone would provide the enterprises from Chengdu with superior services to promote the development of both cities.

Directors of the financial office, State-owned Asset Management Co and investment promotion bureau of the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone were also among the fact-finding group.
