An entrepreneur salon was held on Sept 20 in the Kunming National Hi-Tech Industries Development Zone during the 2014 Kunming Real Estate Exhibition.

The salon was themed “the current situation and prospect of city and industry integration in national high-tech zones”, where directors of the Zone, commercial real estate planning managers, specialists and scholars gathered together to discuss the future development of Majinpu Hi-Tech Industrial Base in the Zone.

The most exciting project discussed at the salon was the construction of an outer space experience hall. It will be the third outer space experience hall in China after Beijing and Shanghai. The experience hall, a complex including a scientific research base and a tourist destination, is projected to present the most advanced space technologies and provide visitors with first-hand experience of the applications of these technologies.

In addition, the development of the CBD of Majinpu Industrial Base also gave rise to heated discussion. The introduction of retail outlets, duty free stores and an e-commerce platform, according to the attending scholars, is promising, since large projects of high quality will attract more investment and new industries.
