The Entrepreneurs Photography Association of the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone was founded on Nov 25. Now photography amateurs in the Zone have their own organization and can hold activities in their spare time.

At the inaugural ceremony, Zhao Shujun, vice-director of the administrative committee of the Zone outlined the photography association’s initiation, preparation and establishment. He said he hoped the association would provide a good platform for amateur photographers to record the beauty and development of the Zone and to promote the development of the arts there.

Also, leaders of the association were elected at the meeting. Bao Lihui, vice-secretary of the Photojournalist Society of China, was elected the vice-director of the association. At the end of the meeting, Bao talked about his shooting skills and work experience as a photojournalist.

So far, the association has attracted nearly 100 members from more than 30 enterprises in the Zone.
