A delegation from the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone paid a visit to Kunming Tangdian Industrial Zone and Kunming Mount Jiaozi Tourism Development Zone ("two Zones") on Dec 17.

Led by Wang Minzheng, director of the administrative committee of the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone, and accompanied by Zhu Jiajian, the vice-secretary of the management group of the two Zones, the Kunming investigation group made several visits, including Baiwang Soymilk Co, Anfu Community, a farmer settlement area, and Mount Jiaozi Experimental Secondary School.

After the visit, Zhu outlined the development of the two Zones since their foundation. Wang responded by speaking highly of their achievements in recent years and making some requests and suggestions on the further communication and cooperation between the two Zones and the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone.

In the afternoon, Wang went to Xishao village and visited some poor families, asking about their family members, their sources of income and difficulties. In addition to donating to those in poverty on the spot, Wang asked local government to intervene and improve their living conditions and help them solve their problems in education and medical treatment.

In the evening, Wang stayed at a villager's home and asked about his opinions on the policies that support agriculture and benefit farmers, as well as on the two Zones' construction. Wang said that he would share all the suggestions and opinions with officials, do what people need and want, and solve the problems for villagers as soon as possible.
