The first Hong Kong International Duty Free Shopping Mall in Yunnan is planned to be built in Kunming, the capital city of the province, xinhuanet.com reported.

The first-stage of the project will involve sections that will offer designer brands including LV and Prada and open in May 2015. All the goods in the mall by overseas manufacturers will go through Chinese Customs inspection.

The duty free shopping service to be provided by the mall is expected to become the third most attractive touristic feature of Yunnan, following its beautiful natural scenery and pleasant weather.
