A pair of giant pandas from China were treated like royalty as they touched down in the Canadian city of Toronto Monday, Xinhua reported. After a lengthy 18-hour trip, the 2 eagerly-awaited pandas were greeted by Prime Minister Harper and his wife Laureen, the Chinese ambassador to Canada – Zhang Junsai and a number of dignitaries and media outlets. The pair, Er Shun, 5, and Da Mao, 4, who are on a 10-year loan to Canada, were welcomed with a national anthem performed by a group of high school students at Pearson International airport. 據(jù)新華社報(bào)道，經(jīng)過(guò)長(zhǎng)達(dá)18個(gè)小時(shí)的飛行后，中國(guó)大熊貓大毛、二順"伉儷"25日抵達(dá)加拿大多倫多皮爾遜國(guó)際機(jī)場(chǎng)。這對(duì)萬(wàn)眾期盼的熊貓享受了皇室成員的禮遇，受到加拿大總理哈珀及夫人勞倫、中國(guó)駐加拿大大使章均賽及眾多高官、媒體的迎接。一群高中生還在機(jī)場(chǎng)奏響了加拿大國(guó)歌，歡迎它們的到來(lái)。據(jù)悉，4歲的大毛和5歲的二順將被租給加拿大10年。(見圖)
