Comment on "At life's end, hospices ease pain" (China Daily, July 5)
Before I came to China I was a hospice worker for a long time. And I can tell you it is a godsend to the people when their loved one is dying. It definitely eases the stress level of the family and also eases the patients' suffering. It is a service that should be available to all terminally ill patients. Thanks and blessings to those in Shanghai who are doing such wonderful and necessary work.
