It is a pity that some protestors in Hong Kong continue to mock the mainland toddler by pretending to urinate in some public places. This will no doubt deepen the misunderstanding between the mainlanders and Hong Kong residents.
For mainland tourists who are not familiar with the Hong Kong situation, it can be hard for them to find the nearest toilets. And it will not be merciful to require children, especially toddlers, to fight against nature's calls.
Hong Kong has sufficient public toilets. Why didn't the local passers-by lend a hand by guiding the parents to the nearest available toilet? Instead they simply took photos. The act of infringing the toddler's privacy aimed at revealing mainlanders' rudeness is rude itself.
The farce staged by a small number of protestors to humiliate the mainland visitors does nothing but humiliate themselves, which will only show how narrow-minded and unmerciful they are.
