Chinese sturgeons are among the world's most ancient animals and are protected in China. Due to illegal fishing in recent years, the Xiamen fisheries bureau has established a Chinese sturgeon breeding program to preserve this rare species, and now there are about 2,000 sturgeons aged 4-10 years old.
