 Staff members of the urban administration office try to dissuade a man from swimming in Shichahai Lake in Beijing, June 13, 2011. The office dispatched employees to cruise the lake from 7 am to 2 am to prevent people from swimming. The urban administration workers said the lake is four meters deep in places with weeds, making it hazardous for swimmers. According to local residents, people drown in the lake every year.
