Dalian people’s congress ends its 2011 session

The fourth Session of the 14th Dalian Municipal People’s Congress ended its third plenary meeting on Sunday at the World Expo Square in Dalian in Northeast China’s Liaoning Province.

The fourth session of the 14th Dalian Municipal People’s Congress closes on Jan 16 in Dalian at World Expo Square in Northeast China’s Liaoning Province.

Participants discussed and approved the provincial government work report of the past year, approved the 12th Five-Year-Planning (2010-15) proposal and also said yes to regulations on handling bills presented by deputies with the Dalian People’s Congress.

Zhang Zhong, Sun Shichao and Yao Jiakai were elected deputy directors of the standing committee of the 14th Dalian People’s Congress. The financial committee of the local people’s congress also received new members.
