China-Northeast Asia Expo

The China-Northeast Asia Expo (CNEA Expo) is a state-level exhibition approved by China's State Council, hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, the National Development and Reform Commission and the people's government of Jilin province. It is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Culture, the National Tourism Administration, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade as well as the provincial governments of Liaoning and Heilongjiang and the government of Inner Mongolia autonomous region. It is also an international and regional comprehensive exhibition that involves all Northeast Asian countries and embraces the rest of the world. The expo is held annually in early September in Changchun, Jilin province.

The China-Northeast Asia Expo focuses on exhibitions, economic and trade cooperation, conferences and forums and cultural exchanges. The renamed and upgraded expo has become an important part of China's process to open up to the outside world, and is also an important platform for friendly exchanges, economic and trade cooperation and multi-field cooperation between Northeast Asian countries.

The China-Northeast Asia Expo has been held eight times since 2005, and the High-level Forum on Economic and Trade Cooperation in Northeast Asia has been held during six of these expos.

The 9th China-Northeast Asia Expo will be held from Sept 6 to 11 this year in Changchun, Jilin province.

The China-Northeast Asia Expo was named one of China's 10 Most Influential Government-led Expos in 2007.

The expo received the Exhibition Economy Award of China—the Outstanding Government-led Expo, in 2009.

It was named one of the Top 10 Economic and Trade Exhibitions of China in 2010.

The expo was also named one of the “Top 10 Brand Exhibitions of China – in both 2011 and 2012.
