Kite festival to open at Yuxi Grand Canyon

A gust of excitement is rushing through Yuxi Grand Canyon in the city of Sanmenxia, Henan province, as its inaugural kite festival is set to get underway from April 2 to 17.

Planned to take place at the canyon's Liuxiu Lake Square, the festival will not only feature thousands of colorful kites flying high in the sky, but also red, white, pink, blue, and even green plum blossoms at ground level in the Liuse Plum Blossom Park.
