Representatives of more than 20 enterprises from 10 countries gathered in Chongqing on June 16 to explore trade cooperation opportunities. Fourteen of them signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with Chongqing companies.
The MoU agreements mainly involve business cooperation in cross-border e-commerce activities, supply chain and logistics, and manufacturing.
The participating enterprises were from Germany, France, Luxembourg, Italy, Kazakhstan, Hungary, Poland, Belgium, Russia and Netherlands.
They are all along the Yuxinou International Railway, a freight rail route linking Southwest China's Chongqing and Germany's Duisburg. Since the railway opened to transportation in 2011, economic and trade exchanges among those countries have intensified.
