Liangjiang makes concrete efforts to promote supporting facilities

The construction of Chongqing YubeiBashu Primary School is nearing completion and is expected to be fully operational in 2016, according to the Liangjiang administrative committee. The construction of the facility marks the promotion of educational facilities in Liangjiang New Area.
Chongqing No 8 Middle School has also begun construction in the Central Park area of Liangjiang New Area. It is expected to put into operation in 2016.
According to the transportation plan of Liangjiang's Yubei district, seven metro lines will pass through the Central Park area. The first stage construction of Metro Line 10 has begun and it is expected to enter full operation in 2017.
Liangjiang Yihengxian Road received a total investment of 6 billion yuan ($938 million) and was opened at the end of 2014.The road connects important areas in Liangjiang, namely the Northern New District and Yuelai District. It is expected to enhance trade through better local logistical connections.
According to local authorities, supporting education, medical, leisure and commerce facilities in the Central Park area have been promoted. The construction plan of Yubei district outlines plans for the construction of two to three comprehensive hospitals, to provide better medical services to local residents.
