By Wang Yifei, chinadaily.com.cn

Igetmall.net, a cross-border e-business, received 14,000 orders worth 1.34 million yuan from Dec 12 to 14, liangjiang.gov.cn reported.

The e-commerce website sells products ranging from infant goods, cosmetics, food, shoes, and health products. The web offers more than 40 types of infant milk powder from dozens of countries.

It has set up special “booths” for different kinds of products such as infant items, cosmetics, and daily necessities. Consumers can get discounts ranging from 20 to 70 percent and receive their products within five days. In May this year, igetmall.net also opened an offline store.

From Dec 12 to 14, health products from the US, Germany, New Zealand and France, and skin-care products from South Korea, continued to be popular.

So far, more than 110 cross-border e-commerce businesses have settled in Liangjiang because of Chongqing’s favorable policies as a national pilot city for cross-border e-commerce.
