Siming district?in Xiamen is currently putting in a lot of effort to promote new developing sectors, and it has a lot of young people because of its romantic cultural aspects and friendly locals.

Lu Jie, an entrepreneur in Siming district, said his firm will help promote integrated growth across the Taiwan Straits and entice more Taiwan young people to work?on the Chinese mainland.

Siming district is regarded as the crossroads of cross-Straits exchanges, and in recent years, the district has pushed to encourage integrated development across the Taiwan Straits in an effort to turn it into a demonstration region for Taiwan companies looking to invest on the Chinese mainland.

In an effort to entice more Taiwan young people to work and invest in Xiamen, Fan Chiang-feng, manager of Qida Straits Youth Entrepreneurial and Incubation, said that a particular fund will be set up for young people from across the Taiwan Straits to start a business.
