Siming's improving business environment benefits enterprises
Regulations on Optimizing Business Environment of Xiamen Special Economic Zone took effect on March 1 and Siming district in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province has taken swift yet steady steps to create a favorable business environment for enterprises.
In recent years, Siming's government has stepped up efforts to employ online platforms and digital technology to speed corporate approval procedures, cut administrative service expenses, and increase administrative service efficiency.
One of the enterprises that benefits from the district's efforts to improve its business environment is Xiamen Sungiven Foods Company. The district's one-stop services made obtaining a business license much faster and easier for the company.
"The business registration applications and materials needed are reduced from 56 to 19, and the time of approval needed at every stage of a project has been significantly shortened, which not only increases work efficiency, but brings great convenience to enterprises," said Shi Xuyang, administration manager of Xiamen Sungiven Foods Company, who spoke highly of Siming's sound business environment.
Siming, according to local authorities, has implemented innovative approval models such as online approvals and services, as well as one-stop access and remote processing. According to statistics, online platforms can handle 95.13 percent of government business, and one-stop services are available for 99.9 percent of things requiring administrative licensing.
The optimum corporate climate is one based on the rule of law. Siming has created a new preservation model by reconstructing the process, standardizing the mechanism, and enhancing the quality and efficiency in order to create a legal framework that promotes fair competition.
