The China Overseas Real Estate Xiamen Company held a themed event in Siming district in the coastal city of Xiamen in East China's Fujian province on April 29 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League of China, and bring awareness to the public about environmental protection.

Sponsors of the event said that there were various activities being held at the same time. Groups of young people shared their stories of struggle, and they said that the spirit of struggle has been inherited and shows stronger vitality nowadays.

In order to express a planet-friendly mindset and inspire more people to choose green, low-carbon modes of life, an intriguing workshop on environmental protection was given, and volunteers participated in tree-planting activities.

According to the event's sponsors, the event aimed to inspire young people to aim high and pursue their aspirations, as well as to work hard and contribute significantly to the country's progress.
