The unveiling ceremony of the Siming District Taiwan Youth Development Service Center was held in Siming district in the coastal city of Xiamen, East China's Fujian province, on May 25, and more than 30 Taiwan entrepreneurs and compatriots attended the unveiling ceremony.
In recent years, Siming district has been actively exploring new ways for the integrated development across the Taiwan Straits, and has launched a number of service platforms for Taiwan compatriots, including a base for cross-Straits youth, a Taiwan-related comprehensive service body and a youth integration development community, all of which have helped Taiwan compatriots better integrate into the country's overall development.
Wu Chia-ying, chairman of the Taiwan Businessmen Association in Xiamen, said that over the past seven years, the Taiwan-related comprehensive service body in Siming has released an array of innovative services for Taiwan residents, and achieved win-win results for people across the Straits.
Jin Jikun, member of the Standing Committee of Siming CPC District Committee, said that Siming has always paid great attention to the development of Taiwan youth, and it will leverage its unique advantages of being a cluster for young Taiwan entrepreneurs to explore more innovative ways to attract more professionals from Taiwan to Xiamen for employment and entrepreneurship.
