29th China Intl Advertising Festival kicks off in Xiamen
The 29th China International Advertising Festival was held in the coastal city of Xiamen in East China's Fujian province from Dec 21 to 22, and industry insiders gathered in the city to share their views on the new development trend of the advertising industry.
Liu Hui, a State Administration for Market Regulation official, delivered a keynote speech during the opening ceremony of the festival. He said that China's advertising industry shows a stable and improving development trend, and its market scale is growing at a fast speed. New business types, new technologies, and new models have sprung up, which have led to the innovative development of the country's advertising industry. The State Administration for Market Regulation plans to make regulating the advertising sector a top priority to maintain normal market order and contribute to the healthy development of the whole industry.
Xu Guohua, director of Xiamen Administration for Market Supervision, also spoke during the opening ceremony and said that the China International Advertising Festival is a major activity for the industry. It plays a leading role in developing the country's advertising industry, and also boosts Xiamen's industrial development and economic growth, which has injected new vitality into the city's development.
Sasan Saeidi, president of the International Advertising Association said that he looks forward to attending the 30th China International Advertising Festival next year in a recorded video speech that was later played during the event.
