The 2023 Network Multimedia Xiamen Tour, organized by the Xiamen Municipal Committee Internet and Information Office, officially kicked off in Xiamen on Nov 17.

With the theme "Cross-Strait Dialogue, Integration and Development", the event offered a platform for journalists from all over the country to conduct in-depth interviews and fully explore the vigorous development of Xiamen's economy and society, as well as the city's efforts to promote cross-Strait integration.

During the event, media members started from Haicang, and visited the Xiamen Olympic Sports Center, Xiamen International Exhibition Center, Xinghe Corporation, Minnan-Taiwan Cultural Exchange Center in Huli district, and Xiamen Port Container Terminal, all of which have witnessed the high-quality development and tremendous changes brought about by integrated development across the Strait.

Meanwhile, the event's salons provided a platform for in-depth communication and discussion, contributing wisdom and strength to the promotion of cross-Strait integration and development. Four young people from Taiwan shared their stories of integrating into mainland life and participating in the development of the Chinese mainland.
