The third Global Alliance of Special Economic Zones (GASEZ) Annual Conference will be held during the 24th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), scheduled for Sept 8-11 in Xiamen, Fujian province, East China.
As the only Chinese founding organization of GASEZ, the Green Partnership of Industrial Parks in China (GPIPC) functions as a public service platform dedicated to strengthening international cooperation and promoting green, sustainable development in national-level economic and technological development zones, aligning closely with CIFIT's development principles.
Additionally, the GPIPC will host an international cooperation and investment promotion exchange meeting for national-level economic development zones at this year's fair. The event will bring together national-level economic development zones to discuss green development policies in industrial parks, as well as foreign trade and economic cooperation.
Meanwhile, the GPIPC will also organize a special session for overseas special economic zones matchmaking meetings, where Chinese company representatives can engage in one-on-one discussions with overseas zones of interest to promote bilateral trade and industrial cooperation between international and domestic enterprises.
Green and sustainable development is a key focus of the GPIPC's efforts. The conference will innovate by using a green electronic meeting system to achieve paperless and low-carbon meetings. Each guest will receive a calculation of their carbon emissions from attending the conference. The GPIPC will also offset the total emissions of 28 metric tons generated by the event through the purchase of carbon credits, achieving carbon neutrality for the conference.
