The 2024 China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival is being held in Xiamen from Nov 13 to 16. As a significant exchange event for the film market, the opening ceremony of the 2024 GRIFF Industry was held on Nov 13.

A large number of project agreements were signed during the event, with a total of 175 cultural and film industry projects in Xiamen reaching a total investment amount of 31.63 billion yuan ($4.36 billion), including 97 projects valued at over 100 million yuan.

Siming district signed agreements on 49 projects with a total investment of 9.18 billion yuan. They focused on the cultural and film industry, specifically film and television production, cultural empowerment, AI applications, animation and games, and cultural performances, among other areas. The projects are expected to further accelerate the clustering of the cultural and film industry in Siming district.

In recent years, Siming district has been continuously improving its policies to support the cultural and film industry, issuing a series of development policies to provide key support and incentives to cultural and film enterprises.
