China.nba.com relaunches on Tencent

Optimized functionality to provide seamless, consistent experience across desktop, tablet and mobile devices

BEIJING – NBA China and Tencent Holdings Limited ("Tencent," HKSE: 0700), a leading provider of comprehensive Internet services in China, announced today the relaunch of china.nba.com, the NBA's official digital destination in China.

With a fresh new look that is optimized acrossdesktop, tablet and mobile devices, the site will provide a consistent experience for fans to access live games, news, videos, photos, stats and more. The new site features a continuous-load interface to allow fans to engage with compelling content in a more user-friendly design across all devices.

Highlights and features of the new site and NBA social media assets include:

Enhanced Content Offering: In addition to the latest scores, stats, news, photos, videos, and feature shows, the upgraded 30 team sites also allow fans to follow the latest activity for each NBA team on a deeper level.

Mobile Optimized:Fans can experience all NBA content with the launch of a new mobile-formatted version of china.nba.com.

New Interactive Features: The NBA official account on mobile QQ, one of the largest messaging platforms in China, will give fans the opportunity to engage withunique, interactive elements to bring them closer to the action.

Personal Expression:Fans on QQ will have access to premium Virtual Personalization Items (VPIs) including emojis, chat bubbles, chat backgrounds, profile picture decorations, and profile backgrounds to highlight their favorite teams and players.

Social Media Buzz: Fans will have access to diversified and exclusive content, features and services on WeChat, Qzone and Weibo. The NBA will also launch a new account on mobile QQ, grow its presence on photo and video social networks Nice and Miaopai, and manage NBA Tribe, an interest-based QQ BBS community, to reach fans in China across all platforms.

The relaunch of china.nba.com is the first digital offering under Tencent's five-year expansion of itspartnership with the NBA.Many more innovative initiatives, including video play-by-play and in-depth historical NBA statistics, will be unveiled in the lead-up to the new season.

As the Exclusive Official Digital Partner of the NBA in China, Tencent will feature a record number of live NBA games and deliver enhanced original NBA programming and highlights, including NBA preseason and regular-season games, NBA All-Star, the NBA Playoffs, The Finals, NBA Summer League and the NBA Draft. NBA live games and content will be available for fans to access through Tencent's NBA sections on QQ.com, v.QQ.com, QQ and Mobile QQ, Qzone, Weixin, Tencent Video app, Tencent Kanbisai mobile app and Tencent News app.
