| The Old Summer Palace begins operating sightseeing cars in the Western section of the scenic spot, on June 29,2016. Due to its long distance away from the main tour route, not many visitors come to this section for sightseeing, but actually the Western section is home to more than 20 attractions (among a total of 40 attractions for which the Old Summer Palace is famous). The pilot sightseeing cars service began today and will end on July 28, during which visitors can ride in the vehicle for free. Each car also comes with a tour guide who can make sure visitors are well-informed about the attractions they see.[Photo/Xinhua] |
