Almost 21 months on, the three-year plan to rebuild areas ravaged by the 8-magnitude earthquake is well under way and, although most projects were started only after the first anniversary of the disaster last May, the rebuilding work is scheduled to be completed ahead of schedule on Sept 10. China Daily sent a team to find out how life goes on.
