No more commercials!

The Chinese government has passed a law that bans commercials from airing during television dramas. That means no commercials throughout the entire show. As if China needed another argument its case for being the best country ever, it then bans commercials. At least this show has no commercial interruptions.

Keep your kuai zi

The government of China's Shaanxi province banned disposable chopsticks. According to the new law, hotels, restaurants and street vendors can be fined for handing out wooden kuai zi. Officials say the move it's a move to help the environment. But let's be honest. China needs disposable chopsticks.

WTO: More clean toilets

After the WTO – the World Toilet Organization – closed the doors to last week's World Toilet Summit & Expo in China, founder Jack Sim began speaking out the world's lack of clean, accessible toilets. Dear goat loves deer

An odd and tragic love story came out of a wild animal zoo in China's Yunnan province this week. A goat and deer living in the same enclosure seemed to have fallen in love. The surprising – and some what disgusting – pictures went viral on China’s Twitter-like micro-blog site, Weibo, garnering much admiration from netizens. But, to their dismay, the owner decided to separate the overly amorous couple.
