The 5th World Internet Conference will open in Wuzhen, Zhejiang province on Nov 7 and run for three days. This year, with the theme of "Creating a Digital World for Mutual Trust and Collective Governance — Towards a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace", the WIC has sent invitations to more than 1,500 guests from all around the world, focusing on important topics such as artificial intelligence, 5G, big data, cyber security and the digital Silk Road. Luigi Gambardella, President of ChinaEU, as a member of the high-level advisory board of Wuzhen's World Internet Conference, shared his views on the community with a shared future in cyberspace and his expectations for this conference in an interview with China Daily website.
