Skiing festival attracts over 2,000 skiers to Changchun

The 23rd China Changchun Jingyuetan Vasaloppet International Skiing Festival kicked off on Saturday at Jingyuetan National Forest Park in Changchun, Jilin province.
The event attracted over 2,000 participants from 33 countries and regions including China, the United States, Norway and Canada, with more than 600 international athletes and guests, making it the largest in history.
Following the opening ceremony, athletes competed in five competitions — a 50-kilometer, 25-km, 6-km, 1.5-km and 0.3-km race, catering to a wider range of skiing enthusiasts.
