With the 2019 Spring Festival around the corner, China Daily sat down with ambassadors and diplomats to talk about their understanding of Spring Festival, outlook on bilateral relations, and their New Year greetings to the Chinese people.
Dhia Khaled, Tunisia’s ambassador to China,took part in Spring Festival celebrations in the 1990s in Tunisia and has experienced the holiday in China since 2017. He said the events were amazing and special with deep meaning, reflecting the importance of the festival in Chinese history and culture.
In terms of bilateral relations, the ambassador expects more achievements in 2019 in political and economic fields between China and Tunisia. He also looks forward to receiving more Chinese tourists in the coming year.
