Suzy restaurant opens second branch in Beijing
Suzy restaurant unveiled its second branch in Beijing's Liangmaqiao area with an updated menu after its first outlet was launched in the capital three years ago.
Cuisine does not define the restaurant as it aims to bring all kinds of liquors to drinking enthusiasts including beer, baijiu, yellow liquor, sake and a variety of wines.
The menu is designed around the drinks: whether to pair the liquor, how to dispel the effects of alcohol, or how to get full after carousing.
Smoked Beef in Box with Yuzu Koshu Sauce is the must try. The beef is slowly cooked and then put into a wood box that has rosemary inside. The moment the box is opened in front of the diners, the smoke with a touch of rosemary arises, and the beef is tender inside and crispy outside with the proper seasoning.
Japanese cuisine is one highlight as both fried green soybean with canned anchovy, garlic and dried chili and Nagoya-style chicken wings go with alcohol.
