China-UK publishing forum emphasizes cooperation and innovation
Alison Mitchell said the international influence of Chinese journals has grown in recent years. The cooperation between Springer Nature and Chinese publishers in this field is growing rapidly and they look forward to closer cooperation in publishing in the future.
Shi Lei introduced the unique value of university publishing in global academic and technological publishing, and expounded his understanding about the three major trends of global academic publishing, which are open, intelligent and network-based.
Seth Caylay introduced Gale’s successes in cooperation with Chinese publishers in areas such as themed books. Further cooperation in database and digital research will be regarded as important in the future.
The China-UK High-Level Publishing Forum was co-hosted by the Publishers Association of China and China National Publications Import & Export (Group) Co., Ltd. It was co-organized by China Youth Publishing Group.
