BBC Blue Planet II Live in Concert will debut at Beijing's Poly Theater on March 31.
Performed by the Chinese Film Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Xiao Chao, the concert is a mix of music by award-winning composer Hans Zimmer and footage from the documentary, which will be shown on an LED screen as part of a breathtaking experience.
Directed by James Honeyborne, Blue Planet II revolutionized the way nature documentaries are filmed, making use of ultra-high-definition drone footage and deep-diving submersibles that recorded never-before-seen images. The team behind the documentary traveled to 39 countries in the course of 125 trips.
