CIIE backed by enhanced smart power supply support system
Based on the digital transformation achieved in the past few years, State Grid Shanghai has successfully completed upgrading its latest version of the smart power supply support system for the seventh China International Import Expo. According to the company, the system recognizes risks in real time, accurately locates malfunctions and offers repair services accordingly.
"Another 736 data collection and measurement points were added to join the existing 3,943 points, and the high-density data collection can enable us to realize fully digital monitors," said Fu Huimin, a personnel with State Grid Shanghai.
Inspections on 9,842 kilometers of cables were conducted at key CIIE venues including the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), the Grand Halls in Shanghai and the Huangpu River ahead of the expo.
A team of more than 2,000 staff are carrying out facility guards and non-stop inspections during the CIIE, which takes place in Shanghai from Nov 5 to 10. More than 3,000 emergency repair personnel and more than 800 vehicles are on standby around the clock across the city.
