Exhibition puts China-Russian relations in the frame
Russian artist Oleg Yakhnin, expressed that the exchange of print art between Russia and China has a long history. This exhibition provides a valuable platform for artists from both countries to deepen their understanding of each other's artistic styles and creative concepts, further promoting the integration and development of art in both countries.
In her speech, Wu Danna, Director of the Beijing Russian Cultural Center, stated that this print exhibition is a vivid embodiment of the cultural exchange and cooperation between the two countries, inheriting and showcasing the historical culture and artistic traditions of both countries, as well as reflecting the artistic innovation and contemporary spirit of artists from both countries.
During the opening ceremony, Oleg Yakhnin and Professor Xu Yuxiao, representing the participating artists from China and Russia, donated print works to the Chinese Academy of Arts. Zheng Guangxu, Director of the Art and Literature Gallery of the Chinese Academy of Arts, presented the artists with certificates of collection.
