China's prestigious Tsinghua University has recently reported three cases of students' violations of school regulations on the official WeChat public account of its students' affairs office.

The incidents include one student profiting by selling campus visitor reservation slots, another bringing an electric motorcycle battery into a dormitory and a third engaging in a conflict at another university and posting inappropriate comments on social media, which negatively affected the university's image, the university said.

These violations serve as warnings to others, warning that the sale or paid transfer of visitor reservation spots to others is strictly prohibited, the university added.

For safety reasons, the university has banned the storage and charging of electric motorcycle batteries in dormitories.

The university also emphasized that students must maintain discipline in their words and actions, both online and offline, within and beyond the campus. It reiterated its commitment to addressing such cases strictly based on established policies.

According to the official announcement, the students involved have received punishments of serious warnings or higher. They will be disqualified from applying for any commendations or awards in accordance with the university's disciplinary regulations.
