The original Italian musical Casanova made its debut in China, running for 10 performances at Shanghai Cultural Square from Dec 20 to 28.

After its official premiere in Venice in December 2022, Casanova quickly became a popular show in Italy.

The protagonist Casanova is played by the renowned musical actor Gian Marco Schiaretti. Schiaretti is well-known to audiences for his outstanding performances in the musicals Notre Dame de Paris and Don Juan, and Casanova marks his return to the Italian musical stage after 13 years of appearing in numerous international productions.
