The 9th "AAC (Award of Art China) Art China? Annual Influence" Awards Ceremony was held in the Forbidden City's Jianfu Palace Garden on Thursday.

Zhang Peili, a video artist considered by some to be the "Father of Chinese video art", won the "Artist of the Year". Lin Ke, a video artist who graduated from Communication University of China in 2008, won the “Young artist of the Year”. While A History of Exhibitions: Shanghai 1979-2006, Contemporary Chinese Art: A Critical History, Contemporary Chinese Art, Radical art history: Records of Shanghai in the 1980s, Research on Chinese Contemporary Art won the “Publications of the Year”.
