The awarded artists read an initiative concerning environmental protection in the ceremony. They called attention to Chinese artists to disseminate environmental protection through their works.
Ingeborg Princess zu Schleswig-Holstein, cousin of Prince Charles as well as a German contemporary artist, attended the ceremony with Philip Tinari, curator of the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, and Sylvain Levy, founder of DSL Collection.
