An exhibition featuring 90 state-level cultural relics opened to the public at Shenyang Palace Museum, in Northeast China's Shenyang, Liaoning province, on Monday, to celebrate the museum's 90th anniversary. The exhibition will run until November 10.

Articles on display include ancient weapons, royal costumes, porcelain, paintings and calligraphy, among others.

Shenyang Palace Museum, which previously served as the Shenyang Imperial Palace, is the only imperial palace standing outside Beijing in China. It was a palace of the early Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) emperors. In 2004, it was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List together with the Forbidden City in Beijing.
