First Chinese space photography exhibition opens in Beijing

CGTN | Updated: 2017-07-28 11:31

Featuring almost 100 photographs taken by Chinese astronauts in space, a new exhibition of literally out-of-this-world photography opened at the Beijing Planetarium on Wednesday.

The photo series represents the development of China's manned space program and features images showing what life is like for astronauts working in space.

Since the launch of the manned space project in 1992, China has conducted six such missions. China has become the third country in the world to master manned space technology independently.
